Yesterday, GSCS clerical staff began their learning adventure at the inaugural 2024 GSCS Clerical Academy! GSCS school and department office staff learned, laughed and networked as they prepare for a new school year. They were welcomed by GSCS Superintendent Dr. Keith Simmons and participated in fun activities, a Q&A panel and training classes from technology and human resources. Their adventure continued today with more fun activities, employee wellness with Dr. Ecclesia Savage and professional learning from operations, finance and more. Thank you to the sponsors and everyone who helped make this inaugural academy a success!

The ideal candidate will be an RN or LPN willing to provide professional nursing care to students and staff, promoting a healthy school environment conducive to learning. You may have seen the ribbons many of our students won at Field Day events this year. Please express your thanks to United Bank for funding the purchase of those ribbons this year. Our kids were super excited to receive them for their Field Day achievements.
Also assisting with our successful field days were volunteers from Carver Road Baptist.
These men and women helped oversee event stations, provided extra hands and eyes, and kept everything running smoothly. They are always so faithful in helping us with extra workers for our events!
